Early morning, walking from the station to the Accademia we stopped at a small pastry shop and grabbed a water bottle, some local treats and we kept walking. Looking for the signs, checking our map online & asking for directions on the streets. We made it!
However the line was SO LONG. We had a long day ahead of us to see Florence and Pisa. Since we didn't buy the ticket for the Accademia previously online, we had to pay a little extra to buy from someone that did. They were selling the tickets outside the building (they all have specific times to go in). We figured paying a little extra would mean not to stand in line for one hour+. So that's what we did.
Before Pisa, we went to Florence! So here's a few more pictures!
