Planning Europe - Part 1

Planning a trip to Europe is not easy. Let me tell ya.

Scott and I have been planning a trip that is coming super soon. We booked in the beginning of September, so 20 days ago. We fly out on Oct. 6th. from Raleigh to Venice, arriving Oct 7th.

From Venice, we take a one-way flight to Barcelona!!

In Barcelona we are meeting up my super cute cousin Raissa, she's living there for 3 months. Learning spanish and of course, traveling around Europe.

We are going on a 12 day mediterrain cruise!!! Yes, trip of a lifetime!!

We leave Barcelona Oct. 9th

The next day we are in Toulon, France.

I'm planning to go to Aix de Provance and Marseille by train.

The next day we are in Italy, Pisa and Florence. I've been to both places before in 2009 with my friend Adin, so I'm planning to do the essentials and try to experience new things as well with my husband!

The next day we go to Rome

Then, Naples and I want to do Pompeii - Sorrento and take a ferry to Capri, then we have to take a ferry back to Naples from Capri.

Then we go to Greece, Mykonos and Athens. 

Then Turkey, Istambul and Ephesus, which I'm so excited! I just know I'm going to LOVE turkey.

Then we end up our cruise in Venice. One day we do the city and the next day we do the Islands, Murano, Burano, maybe Lido beach? We'll see.

After our cruise we are meeting up my old college roommate that happens to be living in Italy with her hubby that is in the Army. They have a house in Vincenza. So we will explore that for sure!! That's where the architect Andrea Palladio grew up.  Can't wait to see his buildings. 

Then we head to Verona for a day, Romeo and Juliet city!

The next day we go to Milan, and take a train from Milan to Zurich. I still have to plan everything we will do in each city. So it is a LOT of work! I totally want to see Leonardo Davinci's Last Super Fresco in Milan!

Switzerland is going to be fun! We are renting a car!!! I know, we are crazy! I'm so excited though. 

We spend the night in Lucerne a super cute town. Then we spend the night in Interlaken which is about 2 hours from Zurich, we experience Zurich the next day. 

Then we are flying to PARIS! Yes, I love Paris. I can't wait until I go with Scott. I've always dreamed about going with my husband, because it's such a romantic city. Actually this whole trip is so romantic! I'm so excited!!! I have the best HUSBAND ever!!!!!

We are going to Paris and of course we must do Versaille in one of the days! & We are also staying at a 5 star hotel. haha I'm pretty stocked about that, I'm not going to lie. 

Anyway, now that we've actually completed our itinerary. 

The next stop was to book hotels, flights, cruise, some trains (that we found a better deal online), cars.

Meanwhile, I've been packing up our entire house. We are moving across country!!! It's crazy!
