Winter Wonderland.

Some of the fun things we've done this Winter 2013, February and March.

Went to dinner at our neighbors house and Scott felt right at home! Thanks Lauryn and Kirk Ashdown
Discovered Cake-in-a-Mug Recipe:
Mixture:
1 Box of Cake mix (chocolate, red velvet..)
1 Box of instant chocolate pudding
Then for the cake in a mug add:
1/2 a cup of the mixture
1 tbs of water
1 tbs of vegetable oil
Half an egg. (I usually make two at the time so I don't waste half of the egg)

Mix everything and put it in the microwave for 1 minute! TA DA!!
I've tried putting a little cinammon on top and that tasted good. I've also added nutella and whip cream sometimes. On mine, I usually just add milk! It's so great!
"Running" Laps at the tracks at the I-Center. 10 new Basketball courts at BYU-Idaho.

Rexburg LDS Temple!
Janelle Bailey came to Rexburg. We had her and Briana for dinner!

For one of Scott's classes this semester - Latin American Cultures.
He had to do a presentation on Brazil.
So I made "Brigadeiro" for all his classmates and also Brazilian hotdogs and we brought Guarana Antartica.
He set the bar high for all the other presentations and yes, he got an "A".
So proud of him!! His instructor loved the food.
Rexburg is so cold and sometimes I wear my husbands Alaskan Jackets :)
After 6 months of being married we still get some cards and gift cards. THANK YOU!
We went to an event on campus and we saw a couple getting engaged!!
I also tried to be a domesticated wife and bake some homemade bread:
I sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on top and it turned out amazing!

Sulli Reber and I at church. Our husbands gave talks.
Scott first talk since we've been married!

One was a pizza style and the other one was banana, dulce de leche and cinnamon.

I-Center at night:
I found CHUCHU at the supermarket! It's so rare and so expensive! haha
One night I made Pad Thai. (I cheated by using the sauce they have it at the store, but it was delicious)
I added, chicken, peanuts, green onions..

Walked through BYU-i gardens and saw that for the first time.
Skyped my little niece Bibi that knows how to crowl and stand on her own. 8 months.
My calling is part of the activity committee at my ward and we had a "Date Ideas" activity.
We wrote down date ideas on Popsicle sticks and decorated a jar.

Scott loves Banana Bread so this time I added some raisins and apples also:

Cleaned the house! The life of a housewife! haha
On a friday night we watched a movie at home and we decided to go out at 11:30pm to go to Sammy's.
I still don't know if it was a good or bad idea. Pie-Shake and Sweet Potatoes fries.

THEN.. i had to kill it at the gym!
Tried to make homemade brownies... Bad idea. It looks good but it wasn't the best.
A little bit dry.. We didn't finish eating it.

Cool glass at Matthew Swope's house. One of our design friends.
I said: "Scott the orchids are on sale!" he said ok buy one.
Lately, I was buying some few little things I wanted or needed and said:

Shooting in ID.

We went shooting with another couple from our ward. James and Sullivan Reber. It was a lot of fun, but it was windy and COLD! So most of my time was waiting in the car until my turn! Haha Here are some of the pics I took:

James hit one of the gallons of milk we had full with water and it exploded! It was super fun!
We've been collecting things to shoot as a target for a while now!
We have a ton of stuff to shoot! It will be super fun next time!

Jackson Hole with friends!

We decided to go to Jackson for the day and it was so much fun! Matt Swope and Lizzie Merchant also came with us, two of my interior design friends.  We stopped in Driggs, ID and we had an amazing dinner at  Teton Thai . The place is super cool, and during the Summer you can eat outside and the food is incredible. I had the vegetables wonton for an appetizer and that was SO GOOD! I had some rice noodles they were also delicious, Scott ate the green curry, he liked it a lot.

After our dinner we decided to go watch a Moose Hockey game
They are always so cool. The Moose won! Here are some pics:
After the game we wanted to go somewhere for dessert. YES, we did some restaurant hopping!
We stopped at this Bar, and it was fun because they were playing live country music and people were dancing. But, we only stayed for a few minutes.
We ended up having dessert at Rendezvous Bistro
The same bistro we had our first Jackson Hole date, remember?
It was amazing!!! I had the one on the left: Nutella Torte. Scott had the one on the right and it was a Hot Lava Cake with gelato.
