Happy Valentine's day.
Last year Scott also gave me orchids for Valentine's day (2012) since it's my favorite flower.
So, we made it a tradition! The only difference was that this year's was way cheaper and I got to pick them!
I came home from school and the fire truck was in front of our apt complex.
I thought something happened. So I called Scott while I was in the parking lot.
He said: "Yeah.. our apt caught on fire. You left the candle on"
I freaked for a second and then he told me he was kidding.
We went to Scott's favorite place here in town for lunch, Pizza Pie Cafe.
They have a potato flavor pizza and an oreo that are my favorite.

We had dinner at a new restaurant in town called The Hickory.
We also decided that we are not going to go out here in Rexburg anymore, because it's not worth it!
The food wasn't cheap and it was not that great.. (I make better food at home)
While we were there Scott wrote me this cute note:
This year was my turn to do something for Valentine's day. So I planned and prepared the surprise.
I made him a basket with cute things, candies and other treats. I added a balloon and decorated the house with hearts shaped doilies. I also gave him a hand-made note that had a jar and it said: "Filled with love".
I also got myself a purse and said: "Hey Scott, this is your Valentine's gift for me".
I found this Dooney and Burke at a thrift store and I had to buy it, because a $250 dollar purse was for $2 dollars!!! Score!

Later on the weekend we went to the Sweethearts dance at the stake after going to the temple.
We lasted half of a song and the time to eat cookie = 5 minutes total.
We danced: The way you look tonight by Frank Sinatra.
Happy Valentine's day!!
