Charlotte, NC.

We finally made it to North Carolina! This will be our home for the next 5 months. We are excited to be here and the weather is so warm! I can't complain! Here are some of the things we have been doing.

Our apartment wasn't ready so we had to stay in a hotel for a few nights.

We went to this local restaurant downtown. We walked there from our Hotel. It was a delicious Southern food place called Mert's Heat and Soul. It had four stars and we had to check it out. I ordered pulled pork with Mac and Cheese and Okra. The dish also came with homemade cornbread. DELICIOUS!!! I loved the pulled pork, Scott loved the Mac n' Cheese. We liked it!

They have internet, some printers, a pool, sauna and gym. 

We like Charlotte! :)
