Brasilia!! Meet my parents!

The next day Scott was here we had  Bibi's baby shower. I helped with the design!

 Of course we had to be tourists in Brasilia! Celebrate Brasilia's Birthday also...

 

 

At the TV tower we ate Pamonha, Churrasquinho, Tapioca, Açaí... haha

 

 

So the last time I probably went to "Salto do Itiquira" was when I was 12 or something like that.. well, of course I had to take him there. This waterfall has 168 meters or 551 feet tall, of dropping water!

 

We also went to Caldas Novas, probably the biggest hot springs resort in the world. "Pousada do Rio Quente" we went there with my Aunt Magda and Uncle Luca. It was so relaxing and awesome!

My parents and I took him to "Granja do Torto" and tell him all about the "Agropecuárias" I used to go when I was a little girl and get a chick or a little fish in a bag!

We had Sunday dinner at my grandparent's house. It was my Grandpa's Birthday. We ate a delicious Brazilian barbecue meal!

 

 My Uncle Felix and my Aunt Tania, invited us over for a nice evening gathering. It fun having them meet Scott and welcome him into our family! The food was delicious!

We relaxed, we swam at our pool and just had a great time with family!

 

We also went on a boat ride on the Lake at night. We tried wakeboarding but it started to rain. So we decided to jump in the water!

Before Scott left we took some photos at the JK Bridge close to my house and we went to a really good pizza restaurant in town.

 

This was the saddest day of my life. Saying goodbye to my fiancé. He was going back to the US to work while I would stay in Brazil doing my internship, taking online classes and planning and designing our wedding. We were apart during our engagement! It was so hard, but at the same time it we recognized it was a blessing in our lives! Next time I would see him we would be getting married!! We Skyped everyday of the Summer. We facetimed, texted and I couldn't wait to see him again!!! I missed him SO much!
