Bernardi's - Charlotte Restaurant Week 2013.

1st Restaurant we went to on Restaurant Week in Charlotte was Bernardi's, downtown. 
Jim Anderson a long time family friend was in town and he was so kind to treat us to this amazing dinner.
I got a little carried away with my turquoise.  
During Restaurant week you choose an appetizer, an entree and dessert. It's awesome!
Some of our appetizers:  Salad: Almonds, Gorgonzola Cheese, Apple Smoked Bacon, Heirloom Tomatoes & Blue Cheese Dressing. Potato soup.

Curry based sauce on Duck with vegetables and rice.
 Grilled pepper crusted filet mignon
Topped with goat cheese, served with duck fat Béarnaise, sautéed spinach and roasted garlic mashed potatoes
I took "selfies" before it was even a word.

 It was such a great night. We enjoyed spending time with Jim, I've heard so many cool stories from Alaska, it was lovely to finally meet him. Dinner was delicious.
