Dallas Project.

Off to Dallas, Texas.
Jake and Alicia picked me up from the airport and went to this delicious Mexican restaurant.
Alicia and I, I was so excited to be there!
From there, we went furniture shopping for their house.
We also talked about their likes and dislikes and overall look they want for the new home.
Two pieces that we loved. This couch is leather and so in right now. I saw it everywhere at HPMT 2013, the tufting makes it masculine. Since it's leather is super durable, perfect for a living room with kids.
Since the walls are gray, this storage piece is going to be used as center table. Perfect to keep blankets and other things inside.
We also found this gorgeous piece that will be going in the entry foyer. The iron work in the front will match their front door and this distressed look will complement the french-provence "shabby-chic" modern look.
After a  long day furniture shopping. Where we found these KEY items we ate at this cute bakery.
At night we talked more about the paint options for master bedroom. Having this Pottery Barn bedding as our focal point in the room, we decided to go a little bit towards the blue with a gray undertone.
I loved how they framed their indian rug with a contemporary and clean frame.
This will be hung in the office.
The Construction site:
View of the kitchen to the living room.
The following day we went to a few tile and flooring stores to pick something for the bathrooms and come up with ideas. Tip: It's always better to bet on neutral pallet and put color into the accessories.
Warm gray or a graffiti?
While Brainstorming some ideas for the showers at the kids room, we thought this would look cool. In the end we decided to go with something that would last longer. Small glass tiles across the shower, that would give just enough sparkle for the girls bathroom.
We went to Chiloso's for dinner.
We also went accessory shopping at Hobby Lobby and other stores. That would tie the rooms together.
The garage door got installed!
Few Sketches and ideas:
We also decided on the color scheme for the play room.
It was a very short trip. I wish I had more time in Dallas to look over the design process.
Can't wait to go back to see how it all turned out and do some finishes touches.
Playroom. Loved the darker flooring we picked out.
It looks great and it will be very durable for the kids.
Bathroom flooring being installed, super cute.
